As-salaam Alaikum everyone!
My name is Azalea and I am the President and Founder of The Ally Foundation! I am from Fayetteville, NC and it has been a goal of mine for many years to launch a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people around the world. However, despite my ambition, it wasn't until the passing of my oldest brother that I decided I needed to do something right away.
My oldest brother, Amjad "Ace" Khan, died in an accident on August 10th, 2021. He was a kind, talented, intelligent luminary who excelled in everything that he set his mind to. He was a major inspiration to me, and everyone that has ever met him can attest to how amazing he was. I can go on forever about my brother's accomplishments, dreams, and how he inspired everyone he met, but it is because of him and my love for him that this non-profit has come to fruition.
Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.
O Allah, forgive Amjad M. Khan and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.
I initially wanted to start a non-profit to honor my brother's memory, keep myself productive during my grief, and help the people in my community. After discussing my intention with my family, the idea for a non-profit evolved into one that could honor all of our loved ones who passed and provide a lifetime commitment to bettering ourselves, helping various communities, and inspiring the next generation.
It became clear early on that the perfect name for our organization would be one to represent us all, thus "Ally" was chosen, as it is the last name of my paternal grandfather. After forming the name and having some general ideas for the organization's purpose, we officially began the foundation in November of 2021.
Since the formation of The Ally Foundation, we have taken on three projects, which include helping the homeless population in our Downtown Fayetteville area, providing supplies and other items to students in Haiti, and assisting the New Life For Kids Relief organization in Guyana. For more information on our projects, check out our 'Projects' tab or our other Blog posts!
Thank you for supporting us!
Alhamdulillah, our non-profit organization has come far since its inception in November (2021), and that has been due to the support and contributions from all of you. We are eternally grateful for your support and look forward to seeing how far we'll go InShaAllah over the next year!

Hello from PEI. I first noticed your foundation when an email showed up on my account. It was about thanking me for working with kids in the school system. I don’t know if an actual student from my past sent in my name, as it stated in the email, or if you guys just created it to get my attention. I’m not. Sure how you found me., but I’m glad you do.
Your Emil peaked my interest ,
As time went on I searched up your foundation , and I really want to get involved. I would love to work with your organization. This subject is very close to my heart and I want to do what I can to…
May Allah reward you abundantly and forgive our late brother the foreseen mistakes and grant him jannatufiridausi allahumah ameen
