Guyana

Our parent organization, The Ally Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization based in Fayetteville, NC. Since its founding, the Ally Foundation has provided over 4,000 meals to people experiencing homelessness in Fayetteville, North Carolina, necessities and meals to hundreds of families in Guyana and Haiti, and access to clean water to over 2,000 people in Guinea and Liberia.

We at the Guyana Chapter of the Ally Foundation are comprised of various Guyanese individuals hoping to further the mission of our parent organization and continue helping underprivileged groups in our area. Our mission focuses on executing programs that address Hunger Relief, Quality of Life, and Education to support the poor, widows, and orphans in Berbice and Herstelling.

Zena Ramdharri

With over four decades of experience as an Accountant, holding ACCA CAT and an MBA in Finance, I am dedicated to continuing my family legacy and giving back to our country of origin. As an entrepreneur, I am confident in my ability to lead the Guyana chapter in providing support to those in need, while upholding the fundamental principles of this foundation.

Surujbally Ramdharri

With extensive experience in various fields, I am confident in my ability to support this mission to the fullest extent. My dedication and enthusiasm for philanthropy have fueled my desire to extend a helping hand to those in need. After establishing deep connections, I have returned to my country of origin to make a difference.

Secretary

Waleema Small

Secretary is responsible for managing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and handling correspondence. This ensures that board meetings are properly documented by taking minutes and distributing them to relevant parties. Additionally, the secretary often helps with compliance by ensuring that the organization follows legal and regulatory requirements.

Outreach Coordinator

Samantha Singh

An outreach coordinator implements strategies to engage with the community, raise awareness, and build partnerships. They organize events, manage volunteer networks, and collaborate with other organizations to expand the nonprofit's reach. Additionally, they often oversee communication efforts, including social media campaigns and public relations activities.
