I am the Founder and current President of the Ally Foundation. I received my B.A from UNC Chapel Hill in History, Religious Studies, and Islamic & Middle Eastern Studies. My M.A is in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma and I am currently working on an MDiv. in Islamic Chaplaincy from the Bayan Islamic Graduate School. I have spent most of my professional career working in museums and I absolutely love history.

As a co-founder of this organization, I am deeply passionate about our mission to aid those in need, and with my extensive experience in customer service, retail, operations, and restaurant management, spanning over three decades, I am committed to leading this organization towards creating a lasting legacy.

Assalamu Alaikum! I am Arianna Ally and I am secretary of the Ally Foundation. I recently graduated with my B.M.E.T. from the University of Charlotte and currently work for a power distribution company as a design engineer. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Ally Foundation since the beginning and I am excited to continue working on such impactful projects in the future!

As the treasurer of this foundation, my aim is to uphold and shape all financial strategies that support this organization leveraging my education from UNC Pembroke and experience in related fields to carry out this mission and continue the legacy created by my family.

My name is Judah Africanus and I am the Outreach & Event Coordinator of the Executive Board.  It means alot to me to be a part of the Ally foundation because it allows me to give back to the community.  I spent over 20 years in the military (USMC/Army) and during that time I witnessed a lot of destruction around the world.  A lot of my fellow service members would come home and have varying degrees of issues related to deployments.  In addition to other citizens, some of them eventually ended up on the streets because they did not receive proper care.  Oftentimes they are discarded by their families and society as a whole. Sharing a meal with them once a week brings me joy, because i know at least once a week they know someone acknowledges them as people.

I attended UNC Chapel Hill and received a B.A in Media and Journalism. I also received my MBA from the University of Miami and I have several years of PR experience. I enjoy giving back to my community and being a part of a team that helps so many different groups!  

The Media & Interfaith Coordinator of the Executive Board at Ally Foundation is responsible for managing and enhancing the organization’s media presence and fostering interfaith dialogue and collaboration. This role involves developing and executing communication strategies across various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and other media outlets, to promote Ally Foundation’s mission, programs, and initiatives

The Religious Advisor at Ally Foundation provides spiritual guidance and support to the organization’s leadership and community members, ensuring that the foundation’s initiatives align with ethical and faith-based principles. This role involves offering counsel on religious matters, contributing to the development of programs that integrate spiritual values, and helping to cultivate an environment of respect, understanding, and unity among individuals of diverse faiths.

Attorney Yahya Z. I. Shakir is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. He served twenty years on active duty in the United States Army as a paratrooper and retired at the rank of First Sergeant/E8. He also served seventeen years in law enforcement and retired at the rank of Police Detective Lieutenant. Attorney Shakir is licensed to practice state law in Washington State and Maryland, as well as most Federal laws in all United State Jurisdictions. Attorney Shakir is also admitted to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the U.S. Armed Forces; Veterans Claims; 4th; 9th; 11th; Circuits; the Executive Office of Immigration Review; and the Equal Employment and Opportunity Commission. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree in American and Transnational Law and a Certificate in U.S. Legal Practice from the University of Dayton School of Law. He also possesses a Juris Doctor (JD) Degree; a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in International Relations (Political Science); and a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Law Enforcement. Attorney Shakir also hold a F.A.A. Private Airplane Pilots License.

As the Marketing Coordinator & Social Media Manager at Ally Foundation, I'm responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and social media strategies to promote the foundation’s mission, initiatives, and events. My goal is to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and oversee the foundation's digital presence to increase visibility, engagement, and support.

I’m passionate about navigating cultural and religious topics, organizing and participating in impactful events that raise awareness for Texas, Florida, and North Carolina religious community projects, and leveraging my nonprofit experience to raise awareness and embracing my entrepreneurial spirit to help organizations grow.
